Early Life and Background

Bishop Kiuna’s life journey shows an individual filled with will, resilience and unbridled ambition. Kiuna was Born in Pumwani Maternity and raised in Jericho, Nairobi alongside his parents.

He had his primary education at the Kimathi Estate Primary School, and proceeded to Ofafa Jericho High School, and Parklands for his secondary education.

Life was not bed of roses for young Kiuna as his patents split when he was about 10 years old and his mother had to raise him singlehandedly in a one-room house at the Kariobangi North slum which they moved to after the family crisis.

After studying as an Accountant, young Kiuna was employed as a Cashier in a local bank in Kariobangi where he worked briefly before moving to Buruburu where he worked briefly as an accountant before entering fulltime ministry.

In 2019, Bishop Allan Kiuna was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer – a situation whereby the plasma cells accumulate abnormally in the bone marrow and form tumors in the bones across the body. After battling the health condition for 5 years, he gave up the ghost after his situation worsened in a Nairobi hospital where he was receiving treatment.
